Slumber Party!

Well, my girl is NINE!

In honor of that, we had our very first slumber party last Friday night.  I think it was a huge success.  We kept it really small, only 4 girls total and I honestly think that was a perfect number.  Thanks to Pinterest, we made yummy Jolly Rancher suckers, and fancied up some t-shirts with sharpie marker.  They turned out pretty cool I think .  They had brownie sundaes, played a lot of Just Dance 3 and of course, we rented a movie.  Andy even made our usual breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes in the morning.  All in all, the girls had fun, my girl was all smiles the entire time and I survived the first slumber party.  I'm sure we'll have lots more in our future.

The Debate is over....

Remember the debate last week about what vehicle to pick? 

Well....

The debate is over and guess who won?

Actually...we both won!

But I will admit it here for all of you to seen!

Andy was RIGHT!

Yes, I said it.  He was right!  I ended up going to the Honda dealer here and having them show me the differences between the space in the Odyssey and the space in a Pilot.  There really is no comparison. 
At least for us and this stage in our lives.  So I got a new van! 

And guess what....it totally perfect for us! 

And just for the record. smart and logical isn't all bad! 

The List

Right now, I'm a little overwhelmed. 

The List.....it's way to long and it seems like I keep adding to it and am not crossing anything off. 

Do you ever feel this way? 

It's nothing major.  Nothing so important or super crucial, just things like:

** a 9th birthday party for my girl (totally can't believe she's going to be NINE!) 

** a book fair that needs volunteers (although I think I'm doing okay in this area)

** 2 blog giveaway gifts that still haven't been done (I really haven't forgotten you girls!)

**  teacher gifts  (cause we have the BEST teachers!)

** Mother's Day gifts  (cause my mom is pretty awesome too!)

**  Block party planning and organizing  (cause we knocked out a pretty good plan this morning!)

I feel much better now that I got that out, thanks for letting me vent!

Oh, and a special shout-out to the makers of Pinterest for all the wonderful ideas for all these things that I'm planning.....maybe if I stayed off the computer (again...."thanks" Pinterest!), I could get this list knocked out.
