We made all kinds of goodies. We made these super cute reindeer cookies. I saw these in the Family Fun magazine and they are super easy!
Then we made 2 batches of regular Chex mix (for Andy) and a batch of sweet Chex mix too. I have a new roast recipe in the crock pot as we speak...and it smells divine! It called for a bottle of beer, that has to be good, right?!.... I'll let you know how it turns out.
But that wasn't the "fun" part. Grandma and Paca stopped by with a little surprise and the kids had a blast! Check out their creation!

What a fun day! Your kids are lucky to have such a great Mom. Be careful out there if the roads get bad. We're expecting bad weather too.

The Nutter Butter Reindeers are on our list to make tomorrow. Your description was pretty thorough, but I'm glad to have a photo to go on too!
So cute! Looks like you had lots of fun! You are much more fun than me. On our snow day a couple days ago, I still made my kids do school!
Super cute reindeer cookies - those look like something I could handle making with Savannah.
I agree...sweet kiddos with gorgeous smiles...that's what it's all about.
When is the storm supposed to hit? Makes me think about my Grandma - she lives by herself in the town 5 minutes from you. Stay warm and safe!
